Screenprinting & Printmaking
Patrick has been immersed in printmaking since his mid-teens. He followed in the tradition of his grandfather, John Ward, a master lithographer in Brooklyn for decades.
In California, Patrick established himself as an in-demand instructor, printer, and art fabricator for many noted Los Angeles artists such as Christopher Wilder, Tom Henry III, and Laura Stein. He also developed a sideline specialty in serigraph poster design and production for clients such as Capitol Records.
For over three decades he was Print Foreman for Millman’s T-Shirt Factory in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., providing superior apparel graphics for thousands of clients, including Vassar College, Marist College, radio stations WPDH, WDST, WVKR, and the governments and public works of the City and Town of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, and New York State. Patrick has even printed a custom hat requested for a President of the United States.
